This is my favourite yarn shop around Edmonton. Super friendly and helpful staff, and I always feel welcome even though I'm hauling two very little kids with grabby hands. (The shop has some small toys for kids as well.) Great selection of fibres and notions.
Formerly "Pam's Wooly Shop", Jo's Yarn Garden has been a staple of the fibre arts community in the YEG area for many years. Not only do they carry the regular array of many different kinds of yarn for knitting and crocheting, but they also carry supplies for spinning from the raw wool to the end result. They offer classes and knitting drop-ins on a weekly basis. Around Christmas time they have a special tea event where you are in one of the historical locations near stony plain to enjoy some light snacks, tea and knitting with your besties.The staff here are highly knowledgeable and very friendly. I love to shop here when I am in Stony Plain visiting my Mom-in-law. They always have something pretty to add to my stash.

The staff were the most friendly, knowledgeable and helpful people I have met in along time. If you are doing any knitting weaving spining or other fiber craft it is very much worth the drive to come here
